    Log in with your approved holiday home operator credentials.

    Start pre-approval application

    Open the primary approval application for a new holiday home unit.

  3. 3
    Enter unit and property details

    Provide unit location, ownership, and related property information.

  4. 4
    Upload required documents

    Attach ownership and other supporting documents listed on the form.

  5. 5
    SCTDA review

    SCTDA reviews the pre-approval request and may ask for updates.

  6. 6
    Pre-approval decision

    Receive the decision and proceed to new permit when approved.

Frequently asked questions

It is the first approval for a new holiday home unit, before you apply for a permit.
An approved holiday home operator, signed in to the Holiday Homes portal.
Unit location, ownership, and the ownership documents listed on the form. After approval you can proceed to a new permit application.
If the unit is not rented, the owner Emirates ID copy and the owner passport copy are required. If the unit is rented, the landlord Emirates ID copy, the rentee Emirates ID copy, and the rentee passport copy are required.
Enter the expiry date when that attachment is marked as having one. The application cannot be submitted while a required file or its expiry date is missing.

Notes

Pre-approval is usually required before a new unit permit application.
